I Am Thinking About Buying Engineered Wood Flooring

I am thinking of replacing my flooring in my home. I am leaning towards engineered wood flooring because it is cheaper than regular hardwood floors. Engineered wood is also a more environmental friendly choice so that is always a good thing. I like the look of real wood so I get that without the cost of real wood. I also like that it is a floating floor because my floor is a little uneven and that should smooth it out some. Engineered wood also seems like it easier to install than real wood, so maybe I will be able to install it myself. I have old carpet that will need to be ripped up along with anything else I find underneath that. It will be a big job but I am sure it will be worth it to get a beautiful floor. No one should be able to tell that it is not real wood.
